Scripture For Today:

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Thought For Today:

Although we are living in a world full of chaos, we can still experience peace when we understand that God has taken on the responsibility to care for us.  So what does this mean? It means that for every situation or need that you face God has committed himself to take care of it.  The peace of God does not mean that you will never experience difficulties or hard times because you will. However, God has promised to help you through any challenge you face.  He knows exactly what to do.  He knows exactly how to get you to where you need to be.  Because we know that we are in the hands of the almighty God, who will always love us and provide for us, we his children, can rest in full assurance that some how and some way God is going to make everything work out for our good.

Prayer For Today:

Heavenly Father, we ask that you would quiet the storms of life, speak to the winds and the waves and let your peace comfort us.  Help us to remember your word.  Help us to remember your love for us.  Help us not to fear for you are with us.  Father you are our peace, you are our song. We  praise you for all you have done. We love you and we thank you, in Jesus name we pray Amen.
